It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Sue Garrett Mikkelson of Salt Lake City, Utah, born in Nephi, Utah, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Mikkelson; her parents, Joseph Garrett and Ellen Anderson Garrett; and her daughter Jana Sue. She is survived by: her children, Marc Mikkelson, Lesa Wells (Brad) and Lora VanWagenen (Farrel); her grandchildren, Brian, Mike, Cory Mikkelson, Jenna Haggin, Courtney Williams, Taryn Smith, Ryan Wells, Olivia, Ava and Paige VanWagenen; and her brother Bob Garrett. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson & Goff Mortuary (11859 S 700 E, Draper, UT 84020). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Vine Bluff Cemetery (1200 N 400 E, Nephi, UT 84648).
