He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Lillian Hruby; and his adoptive father Edmund (Caroline Berry). He was also cherished by son, seven step-sons, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans, or a similar veteran's aid group.
