He was predeceased by: his parents, Artie Miner and Blanche Thomas Miner; his former wife Karen Burton Miner; his brother Robert Miner; and his brother-in-law Don Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Miner; his children, Melissa Thomas, Rich Miner (Heidi) and Lori Nicosia (Adam); his stepsons, John Storheim (Paige), Erik Storheim (Brooke), Matt Storheim (Ashli) and Steven Storheim; his siblings, Maxine Curtis and Doug Miner; and his brothers-in-law, J. R. Johnson (Sue), Richard Burton (Emmy) and Scott Burton (Lynn). He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
