Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phillip Lawton Hansen (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away at the age of 81, on July 14, 2025. As we bid Phillip Lawton farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Phillip Lawton is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Steven Hansen and Dorothy Hansen; his wife Marie Kibbe; and his children, Brad Hansen (Amy), Joseph Hansen (Amy) and Katherine Haymond (Deacon). He was also cherished by animals, and his pets.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stark Funeral Parlor (3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106). Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
