With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Alvey Fender in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Fender; his parents, Julian Fender and Vila Fender; his brothers, Brent and Darryl Fender; and his niece-in-law Christy Fender.
He is survived by: his sister Luanne Marvidakis; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle (Henry), Michael, Nick, Mandy, James (Jamie), Rick (Amanda) and Sara.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
