He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter E. Hyte and Helen Phibbs Hyte; and his brothers, Lawrence, Ronald, Steven and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Hyte; his sister Lisa Hyte; and his children, Laura Garner (Hunt), Michelle Lassig (Chris), Sean Hyte (Jeanna), Brian Hyte (Destiny), Darren Hyte (Emily), Lanae Kessler and Caryn Tingey (Blake). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at 8:00 PM, on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM and from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:30 PM at the Thunder Ridge Chapel (663 W 400 N, Saratoga Springs, UT 84045). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Innichement Memorial (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to support Jane Hyte's ongoing cancer treatments.
