It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Blake Brunson (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Rodney Blake may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by : his father Frankie Plott Sr.. He is survived by : his sons, Justin (Allie), Jeremy and Josh (Katy); his grandchildren, Blake, Kylie and Jasmine; and his siblings, Kerry, Franki Plott Chipman and Joni Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins and countless friends.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the American Legion (3419 S W Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84115).
