He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grant Cottam and Melba Eva Willardsen Cottam; and his son Jeremy. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Travis Cottam (Brittany) of Bluffdale, Trevor Cottam (Rebecca) of South Jordan and Corinne Richter (Christopher) of Herriman; and his grandchildren, Eli, Gracie, Jackson, Bridger, Reagan, Zachary, Parker, Owen and Emma.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM, at 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Meadowlark Ward Building (2180 Meadowlark Way, Sandy, UT 84093). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Meadowlark Ward (2180 Meadowlark Way, Sandy, UT 84093). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1950 E Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, UT 84092).
