She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Roy Sedgwick and Albertha Leona Porter Sedgwick; and her husband Earl Cheney. She is survived by : her children, Debra Foster, Rick, Kip and Jeff. She is also survived by 1 Grandson, 3 Great Grandsons, 4 Stepdaughters, 1 Stepson, Step Grandchidren, and Step Great Grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N St E, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).

She then cared for him through his Alzheimer journey, until his passing on 11-09-2012.
