He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Ferguson; and his sister Darlene Draney. He is survived by: his children, Gary Merrell (Lorrie), Nancy Glad (Paul) and Roger Merrell (Tammy). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
