He was predeceased by : his mother Victoria McDonough; his siblings, Bartley John, James Patrick and Robert Stanley (McDonough); and his former life partner Annette Pettey McDonough.

He is survived by : his father Bartley Gerard McDonough; his daughters, Peggy (Patrick Jan) and Jayne (Patrick McLaughlin); and his grandchildren, Claudie A. Jan (Samuel K. Johnson), Martine M. Jan, Kurt N. McLaughlin and Cameron K. McLaughlin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A wake will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starks Funeral Parlor (3651 S 900 E, Millcreek, UT 84106). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
