He is survived by: his wife Kristina Lee Carlson (Baumgarten); his brother Thomas Carroll; and his children, Kevin Bryan Carlson (Teresa Carlson), Eric Randall Carlson, John Dale Burgess (Linda Burgess), Jennifer Lynn Wolken (Brian Wolken), Tamra Monique Parko (Dan Parko) and Megan Michelle Ensign (Mark Ensign).
