She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Kirkham and Elna Kirkham. She is survived by: her spouse William L. Mathews; her children, William "Matt" Mathews (Denise), Jenny Mathews Sasich (David), Amanda Mathews Bilanzich and Allison Goulais (Mark Cannon); her grandchildren, Caitlin, Zachary, Aidan and William; her siblings, Kathy Kirkham Smith Lombardi (Scott) and Jack Kirkham (Cheryl); and also Edward Goulais. She is also survived by mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, teacher, counselor, neighbor, and loyal friend.
