He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Mead and Alta Mead; his son Kirk Fox; his son-in-law Matt Kellogg; and his grandson Tegan Thomas.
He is survived by: his child Married Linda Nowlan; his wife Nona; his children, Marcus Fox (JaNeen), Jody Mead, Kathy Lindsay (Craig), Ken Fox, Lane Mead (Atchara) and Kerri Kellogg-Thomas (Mike); and his brother Dennis Mead. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
