He was predeceased by: his brother Wayne Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Edginton Bennett; his children, Shirley Czerny (Ralf) and Richard G. Bennett; his brother Glen Bennett (Norma); and his sister-in-law Gunnie Lou Bennett. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
SDCH grew into a campus including; The Inn at Barton Creek Assisted Living, Orchard Cove Rehabilitation and Alzheimer's Facility, Home Health, and Hospice Care.
