He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Deborah Murdock (David), John Gregg of Hermiston, OR, Charles Howell (Susan) of Cheyenne, WY, Douglas Howell (Terry), Mary Hockin (Scott) and Ted Howell (Brenda); his brother Robert L. Howell (Betty) of Omaha, NE; and his sisters-in-law, Beth Harnish of Corona, CA and Catherine Feeney of Johnston, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
