Marvin Le Roy Koenig Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Le Roy Koenig of Sandy, Utah, who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Koenig and Lorene Koenig (Keller); his wife Jean Ann Koenig; his parents-in-law, Ernest, Lois (Wiseman) and Samuel Prentice; and his siblings-in-law, Harriet Van Lith (Hendrickson), Marlys Hendrickson, Peter Van Lith and Kim Leik.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Marvin, Jean Ann and Doris; his sons, Todd (Connie) of Roseau, MN, Mark (Jodi) of Fayetteville, GA and Paul of Oklahoma City, OK; his granddaughter Lori (Koenig); his son Maddock (Kevin) of Sandy, UT.; his grandchildren, Brittany (Koenig), Sharp (Jordan), Michael Koenig, Jared Koenig (Kristy), Mathew Koenig (Brooke), Kayla Maddock, Jessica (Maddock) and Adams (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Carter (Brittany), Westin, Sawyer, Greyson, Theo, Adley, Perrin, Rory and Wyatt; and his sister Doris Leik (Koenig).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (400 1st St S, Fessenden, ND 58438). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (725 Main St, Carrington, ND 58421).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Hillside Cemetery.
