She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Timmins and Alice Myrle Linford Timmins; her sister Mary Alice Timmins Cook; her spouse Marlin (Gittins); and her daughters-in-law, Jeannie Gittins and Lesia Gittins.

She is survived by : her sister Lois Timmins Sorensen (John); her children, Linn Gittins (Joy), Mark Gittins (Margot) of Warrenton, Oregon, David Gittins (Linda) of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Helen Gittins of Smithfield, Chris (Debbie) and Alison Gittins (Chris); and her brother Garth Timmins (Sarah). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
