He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Eugene Sanford and Florence Larsen Sanford; his daughter Cindy; his grandson Dustin; and his brothers, Robert Sanford and Ira Sanford.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Lewis; his children, Toni McMains, Brent L. Sanford (Collette) and Laurel Jeppesen (Richard); and his siblings, Carma Roach (Gary) and Vee Sanford (Peggy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
