He is survived by: his former spouses, Cathy Wood, Ryan and Kresha; his wife Carol; his children, Kevin Carter (Tara), Kresha Hendricksen (Aaron) and Ryan Wilkerson; his stepchildren, Jessica Watts Horsley, Jacki Watts Italasano (Matt), Alex Watts and Logan Watts; and his siblings, Tom Carter (Cindy), Richard Carter (Suzie), Bruce Carter (Marsha), Camille Butler (David), Susan Carter, Pam Reutzel (Ray), Karen Carter, Elizabeth Smith (Shane), Laurel Wilde (Ross) and Holly Compton (Greg). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
