She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lester Miles Parks and Eutaw Regina Montgomery; her husband Don M. Gottfredson; her children, Don E. Gottfredson (Shawna), Cynthia Johnson (Gary) and Kim Thatcher (Kevin); her sister Reva Boren; her daughter Sherrie Gay; and her granddaughter Aubrey Johnson. She was also cherished by 38 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
