He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rulon and Hazel Doman Barber; his brothers, Sherman and Verle; his sons, Stanley, Kenyon and David; and his great grandchild Lexie Cawley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sister Rulene Mills (Leonard); and his daughters, Joanne McDermott (Roger), Carole Hoppe (Brent) and Gayl Benson (Todd). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren.
