He was predeceased by: his parents, Arch Gardner and Estella Gardner (Toland); and his sister Emilyn Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kelson; his siblings, Nada Joy Larson (late Clint), Gayla Astle (Dee) and Dahl Gardner (Neva); and his children, Jana Truman (Brian), LaDawn Petersen (Evan), Elisalyn Gardner, Jay K. Gardner (Julie), Daniel Gardner (Deanna), Shaun C. Gardner and Justin D. Gardner (Lyndsay). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and one great grand-daughter.
