He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Painter and Maxine Painter; his parents-in-law, Wallace and Colleen Clark; and his siblings-in-law, David Ottley and Judy Painter.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Clark Painter; and his children, Jeffery Michael Painter (April), Kristin Bouwmeester and Lacey Wagstaff (Kenneth). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
