She was predeceased by: her parents, Masae Sugimoto and Miyo Sugimoto; her siblings, Masumi, Yuriko and Sachiko (Kiyoshi); and her son Kerry.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Vowles (Shimada); her daughter-in-law Carey Shimada; and her grandchildren, Braden, Austin and Kailee.
