He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Stoddard and Cynthia May Stoddard; his wife Ella Joyce Merritt; and his brothers, Lee and Dean Schofield.
He is survived by: his daughter Roberta; his grandchildren, Jason Wilson (Tonia), Chalese Hall (Jeff), Adam Wilson (Kelli), Josh Wilson (Alana) and Shawna Smith (Nathan); and his brothers, Bruce Schofield (Mary) and Calvin Schofield (California). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
