It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Duran Mendez (Taylorsville, Utah), who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Concha Ochoa Duran; her son Michael Lee Mendez; her brothers, Richard A. Duran and James S. Duran; and her father Jose Avedon Duran.
She is survived by: her former husband Rudy Mendez; her sons, Rudy I Mendez (Veronica), Ronnie Mendez, Anthony Mendez (Jessica) and Armando Mendez (Gena); her grandchildren, Rudy, Salvador, Jessica, Steven, Crystal, April, Anthony Jr., Issac, Carlos, Gabriella, Natalie, Daphne, Ronnie Jr., Michaela, Julicia and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Graciella, Ezra, Amias, Soul, Jayden, Zen, Truth, Izzabel, Jocelyn, Elijah, Sahrya, Ellie, Adrian, Lillyana, Joseph, TeeGun, Dayson, LuKacey and Kai; and her friend Tina Chacon. She is also survived by many cousins nephews.
