It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Duran Mendez (Taylorsville, Utah), who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Concha Ochoa Duran and Jose Avedon Duran; her son Michael Lee Mendez; and her brothers, Richard A. Duran and James S. Duran.

She is survived by : her former husband Rudy Mendez; her sons, Rudy I Mendez (Veronica), Ronnie Mendez, Anthony Mendez (Jessica) and Armando Mendez (Gena); her grandchildren, Rudy, Salvador, Jessica, Steven, Crystal, April, Anthony Jr., Issac, Carlos, Gabriella, Natalie, Daphne, Ronnie Jr., Michaela, Julicia and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Graciella, Ezra, Amias, Soul, Jayden, Zen, Truth, Izzabel, Jocelyn, Elijah, Sahrya, Ellie, Adrian, Lillyana, Joseph, TeeGun, Dayson, LuKacey and Kai; and her friend Tina Chacon. She is also survived by many cousins nephews.
