He is survived by : his wife Jolene Barker Dearden; his children, Julie Wallace (John) and Jeremy James Dearden (Mindy); and his siblings, Layne Dearden (Helen), Barbara Hurst (Ralph) and Mark Dearden (Paula). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
