It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathy Gene Solomon Hancey of Taylorsville, Utah, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lavene Solomon and Walter Solomon; her siblings, Bruce Solomon, Karl Mounteer and LouDean Mounteer Jimenez; and her grandson Joshua Hancey.

She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Hancey; her children, Tyler Hancey, Melissa Hancey and Dustin; her daughter-in-law Simone Hancey; her grandchildren, Mariah, Tiffany and Phoenix Hancey; her siblings, Gordon Solomon, Georga Mounteer and Sherlyn Mounteer Beatty; and her brother-in-law Lee Beatty. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
