She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Delbert P Johnson and Ruth Hazel Johnson; and her sons, Boyd Delbert Bird, Jay Alexander Bird (Cindy), Russell John Bird (Leslie), Xavier Bird (Tara) and Lloyd Bird. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
