He was loved and cherished by many people including : his close friend Claudia; his wife Claudia Webb Turner; his children, Charlotte Kent (Jim), Dixie Ewell (Dwayne), Loreen Barney (late Rick) and Steven Turner (Linda Velasquez); his siblings, John R "Jack" Turner (late JoAnn), Kay Jennings (late J.) and Carla Mantle (Jim); his grandson Gavin Demont Ewell; and his parents, Benjamin John Turner and Elva Marie Marriott Turner. He was also cherished by 26 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
