It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sione Hia Katoa (Taylorsville, Utah), who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Semisi Katoa and Suliana Fatai Fatafehi Faka'iloatonga; his wives, Sisilia and JoDeane Riley; his daughters, Otufangavalu Angilau and Pelenita Katoa; his siblings, Vili Oto, Mounga Fua, Molitoni, Paula, Salote, Sioeli and Loseli; his grandson Siale Angilau; his great grandchild Prince Owens; and also Sisilia Moa.
He is survived by: his daughter Tapenisi Katoa; and his brother Inoke Katoa. He is also survived by 10 grandkids, 17 great grandkids, 2 great-great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
