He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur William Holt and Afton Eleanor Anderson; his sisters, Delores Griffith, Sharon Larae Keates, Carol Faye Buzzard (Gary Buzzard) and Shirley Nak (Larry Nak); and his daughter-in-law Stephanie Marie (Knight) Holt (Scott).

He is survived by : his wife Elva Darlene Erickson; his sons, Scott William Holt and Michael Larry Holt (Shelley Ann); his brother David Holt; his brothers-in-law, Marlow Griffith and Terrell Keate; and his grandchildren, Daniel Scott Holt (Tami Lynn), Steven William (Marie), Kyle William Holt (Amanda) and Krystal Ann (Ray Sporleder). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home (4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
