It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of DeLoy S Fawson (Tooele, Utah), who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua "Lyman" Fawson and Nina Mae Sweat Fawson; his siblings, Doris Fawson, Arlo Fawson (Kay) and Gary Fawson (Janet); his children, Rick Fawson and Kim Reilly; his grandchildren, Natalie Burnett, Eric Fawson, Jacob Michael Fawson, Chad Fawson and Dyllan Casper; his former wives, Dianne Viola Sherwood, Joyce Butler and Sharon Lee Jones Fawson; and also Kevin Burnett.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Zane and Kelcie-Anne Hardman; his great grandchild Alex Burnett; his children, Craig Fawson (DeDee), JoAnn Burnett, Susan Goodrich (Jim), Lorri Wheeler (Jeff), Lynn Deem, DeAnn Fawson, Sean Bell, Lacy Hardman (Ben) and Shantel Sullivan; and his sisters, Sharlene May and Linda. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren (with one on the way), 20 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Pavilion of Oquirrh Hills Golf Course (1255 E Vine St, Tooele, UT 84074). Those who are interested are welcome to stay and play 9 holes of golf or hit the driving range (Contact Shantel no later than 2 August to RSVP for nine holes of golf, $20) or mingle at the pavilion.
