She was predeceased by : her parents, Heber John Barnett and Dora Shields Barnett; her sisters, Eileen Barnett and Gayle Boone; and her children, Cody Fretwell and Johnnie Sue Rash.

She is survived by : her husband Charles Wayne Fretwell Sr.; and her children, Stephanie Fretwell, Jeremy Fretwell, Gordie Fretwell and Travis Fretwell. She is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
