It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Oliver Walstad of Tropic, Utah, born in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Judith Satran and Oliver Alexander Walstad; his sisters, Lavore Freeborn, Betty Kobetsky and Candice Benton; and his nephew Kyle Benton.

He is survived by: his spouse Sheree Garrett; and his sister Sharon McCullough. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
