She was predeceased by: her parents, Romanita Aragon Chavez and Romelio Chavez (W. Lyle Smith Jr.); her siblings, Henry Chavez, Ralph Chavez and Josie Alirez; and her daughter-in-law Myleen Ona Cornpeach.
She is survived by: her husband W. Lyle Smith Jr.; her daughters, Michelle Smith Cornpeach and Melissa Smith; her stepson James D. Smith (Carmalita Lee); her grandchildren, Aubri L. Davis, Chavel Y. Schiller of Jyluer, J. L, Schiller, Jonathan Arbagust, Brandon Smith, Jaida Smith and Kaitlin Jaramillo; her great grandchildren, Ari Smith, Maxwell Jaramillo, Phoenix Jaramillo, Sonceray Salines, Bronco Salines, Ava Cornpeach and Kayleena Salines; and her siblings, Luciano Chavez, Danny Chavez, Grace Warfield, Della Luna, Rosa, Marcella Chavez and Kathy Palomarez.
