She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Pepple and Beverly June Huff (Bagwell); and her sisters, Theresa Hudson and Beverly Low. She is survived by: her husband Michael Louis Shaw; her children, Caprice Preston (David), Brian Shaw (Malena), Louis Shaw (Rachael), Jordan Shaw (Amanda), Robin Shaw (Ariana), Olivia Long, Mattie Shaw and Mariah Shaw; and her siblings, Marti Champion, Melinda Grierson and Stan Huff. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
