He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roberta Petty and Rodeo Petty; his spouse Norma B. Petty; his children, Dennis Petty (Sheleen) of Lapoint, Matthew Petty of Vernal and Sara Allen (Jason) of Vernal, Utah; his grandchildren, Tyler Petty of Vernal, Sami Petty, Mady Petty and Justin Petty of Lapoint, Utah; his great grandchildren, Jax Roe and Tallon Grace Petty; and his sister Debra Petty.
