He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Meyers Clark and Carlos Clark; his former wife Louise Clark; and his sons, Carlos D. Clark and Pete Madsen.

He is survived by: his wife Mariam "Jeff" Holmes; his children, William Benjamin Clark, Mickie Lee Allred, Shanna Lynn Powers and Eddie Madsen (Janet); his stepchildren, Louie Holmes (Tina) and Jo Holmes (Jerry Mobley); and his brother Don Clark (Marge). He is also survived by grandchildren, and over 40 great grandchildren.
