He is survived by: his parents, Laurie Jo Burghardt and Kelly Sorensen; his brothers, Tyson Glade Holmes and Beau Brady Sorensen; his grandmother Vadrus Joyce Roberts; his siblings' children, Dean Scott Cody, Christian Oaks Sorensen and Abigale Marie Cody; and his aunts and uncles, Kevin Sorensen, Edward Burghardt, Ann Reynolds, Lisa Watkins, Lydia Eaton and Barbra Madsen.
