He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vern Richens and Melvina Thompson; his wife Joyce Fay Green; his children, Vernal of Utah, Laurie Horrocks (Dave), Norma Richens, Clinton Richens (Debbie) and Janet Mele (Tony); his siblings, Merlin Richens and Carol Ebeling; his sons, Rick and Ray Richens; his granddaughter Heather Richens; and his siblings, Vern (Bud), Melvin, Harold, Vernon, Grant, Hazel, Lila, Stelia, Violet, Nila, Mable and Orbie (Barbara). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
