He was predeceased by: his parents, Beryl E. Kissel and Marietta "Retta" A. Kissel; his brother Gary; and his son Gary Lee. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Sue, Doreen and Karen; his wife Carolyn; and his children, Heidi L. Valle (Greg), Carrie J. Ruppe (Scott), Grant Armitage, Kathleen C. Guzman (Richard), Amy L. Armitage and Jesse G. Armitage (Lisa Jorgensen). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
