He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oliver and Lucy Maddox Runyan. He is survived by: his wife Lorene Cheney Runyan; and his children, Michael Runyan (Pamela), Daniel Runyan, Susan Gale (Walter), Julie Millett (Wayne) and Thomas Runyan (Kristynn). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 58 great-grandchildren.
