She was predeceased by: her husband Austin Jay Steele; her sister Virginia May Lepinotes; her parents, Gilford A. Lawton and Ellen Jacobson Lawton; her daughter-in-law Consuelo "Connie" Steele; and her great grandchild A. J. Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Sharyl Ellen Sheftz (Michael) of Pace, Florida, Lynn Robert Steele of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Debra Kay Moser (Allen) of West Jordan and Penny Lee Edwards of Vernal; and her brothers, Kenneth Gilford and Donald Lee Lawton (Rose). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
