He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl S. McDonald and Myra Lucas (Mann); his nephew Lawrence Wagner; his grandson Houston Smith; and his brother-in-law Fred Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Pace-McDonald; his children, Kattie McDonald (Rich), Tara Underwood, Nicole Engle (Dano), Jonny McDonald, Jared McDonald (Mikia) and Chase McDonald (Xaviior); his grandchildren, Paige, Riley, Cash, Draeden, Kinlee, DekLyn, Shakira, Colby, Taygen, Noah and Ben; his sisters, Rhonda Palmer, Marcia Godwin and Tonda Jones (Jon); and his parents-in-law, Danny Pace (Shay), Chance Pace (Sabrina), Christy Mckenna (Henry) and Jon.
