He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Bastian and Virgie Marx Bastian; his wife Wanda Bastian; his siblings, Gordon Bastian and Elvin Bastian; and his brother-in-law Lynn Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, Karl Bastian and Betty Jo Bastian; and his siblings, Colene Gardner, Connie Duncan (Neil) and Karen Brough (Richard). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
