She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Edward and Mary Louise Bowes Kidd; her children, Carol Robbins of Nibley, Utah, Sherman York (Lana) of La Vegas and Phillip York (Mi Chu) of Englewood, WA; her sisters, Doreen Norman of Vernal, Utah and Joy Short of Idaho; her husbands, Lawrence York and C. Dean Powell; and her son Lawrence June York. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren an 24 great grandchildren.
