He was predeceased by: his father Bryce Mackay; his stepfather Denny Gardiner; and his nephew Scott Mackay. He is survived by: his son Ronnie; his wife Angela Turner Mackay (Angie); his children, Megan Mackay (Michelle), Devin Mackay (Lyndi), Ashley Murray, Colby Murray (Whitney) and Chad Mackay; his grandchildren, Brance, Case, Chemrie and Jake; his mother Carolene Gardiner of Vernal, Utah.; and his siblings, Bryan Mackay (Janet) of Rangely and Diana Johnson (Denis) of South Jordan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
