He is survived by: his parents, David Leon Sr. and Sharlene Sorenson Hemphill; his wife Marla Allred Hemphill; his children, Dayson Shawn Hemphill and Kymberlie Rose Joyce (Logan); and his siblings, David Jr. Hemphill, Shelly Brixey (Mark), Brent Hemphill (Amy) and Sheldon Hemphill Sharina Hillis (Neil). He is also survived by Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
